Research Facilities
The Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry has the major instrumentation and facilities to perform world class research including:Mass Spectrometry Facility: includes several high-resolution mass spectrometers to enable the elucidation of molecular structures, as well as atomic mass spectroscopy using ICP-MS for trace elemental analysis.
NMR Lab: consists of two Bruker NMR spectrometers. In addition, several Unix workstations are available for offline data processing. NMR website
Glass Shop: a full service facility capable of meeting all the needs of the university researching staff and their students. A course in glass blowing is offered by the university for graduate students.
