The Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry Hires New Analytical Chemist.
Mark L. Dietz will be joining our faculty next January. He comes to us after working for Argonne National Laboratory since 1989. Dietz is an Analytical Chemist with proven technical expertise and a record of ongoing, significant accomplishment in separation science. He has also served as a Visiting Research Associate for the University of Chicago Hospitals Department of Radiology, a consultant for ElChroM Technologies, Inc., worked for the Strategic Metals Recovery Research Facility and the Center for Separation Science for the University of Arizona, and as an Chemistry Instructor for Indiana University of Pennsylvania.
Dietz earned a PhD in Analytical Chemistry from the University of Arizona in 1989. Since then he has been prolific working for Argonne, contributing to over 100 journal articles and books and accumulating 13 patents. We look forward to learning more about Dr. Dietz research next winter.
