Dr. Jian Chen Receives 2007 Graduate School UWM Foundation Research Award
Dr. Chen Honored- Vice Chancellor Colin Scanes hands Dr. Chen the award during the 2007 Fall Awards ceremony.
These awards were established in 1978 to recognize and encourage assistant and associate professors who have demonstrated potential to achieve distinction in their disciplines through scholarship, creative activity, and the dissemination of knowledge.
The award is granted on the recommendations of the Committee of UWM Distinguished Professors. Dr. Chen will be rewarded a cash award and his name will be added to a permanent plaque located in the George W. Keulks Memorial Conference Room.
