Spring 2008 Student Travel Grant

The following students were awarded travel stipends to support their attendance and presentation of research work at the ACS National Meeting in New Orleans from April 6-10, 2008. Congratulations to you all!!!
  • Ashley LaMontagna from Carroll College.
    "Determination of Pharmaceuticals in Biosolids, Soils, and Sediments."
    Ashley is a senior biochemistry major with minors in German and biology. She presented a poster in the undergraduate research symposium.
    Advisor: Joe Piatt.
  • Shahjahan Kabir from the University of Wisconsin - Milwaukee.
    Advisor: Jim Cook.
  • Calistor Nyambo from Marquette Uinversity.
    Calistor will present an oral presentation in the Fire & Polymer symposium as part of the PMSE division program.
