Student Travel Grants - Call for nominationsThe Milwaukee Section of the ACS is pleased to announce that an award has been established to support the attendance of graduate and undergraduate students at National or Regional American Chemical Society meetings. The award is designed to help defer costs for a student who is presenting work in either an oral session or a poster session. The Section will provide up to a total of $1200 per meeting in an effort to support around 3 to 5 students. The Section is also committed to providing equal support to each school having eligible students within the boundaries of the Milwaukee Section. If your school has candidates that would benefit from this award we would be delighted to consider applications from your institution. Application of Undergraduate Students are in particular encouraged. Please complete and submit by e-mail one application form for each student to be considered for the San Diego meeting, and return it to me no later than four weeks prior to the meeting. Only applications received by e-mail will be considered. Winners will be notified no later than one week after that deadline. Award winners will be expected to present their poster at the next Milwaukee Section meeting. If you have any questions feel free to contact me further.
