Student - Professional Mixer / Career Workshop

Noon to 1:30PM
Gilpatrick Room of the Hyatt - (Location subject to change)
Please preregister for the Mixer on the GLRM06 Registration Page.

This social event is designed to allow undergraduates an opportunity to interact with students from other SAACS chapters and become familiar with the program. The UWW-SAACS will have a welcome talk followed by one or two speakers from local industries/academia available to answer career related questions.



Symposium


The Ongoing Battle of Natural vs. Pharmaceutical Drugs

2:00PM to 4:00PM

The UWW-SAACS will be inviting ACS keynote speakers, preferably within the Midwest region, whose expertise is in drug synthesis.

Poster Session and Reception

4:30PM to 6:00PM

This program will be held concurrently with the High School Chemaginations session. The event will allow students to present their research and network with students, faculty and other chemists.



Social Networking at the Safe House

9:00PM

The Safe House will provide a comfortable social environment for students to talk with other ACS members about the full day of research talks. The event is open to undergraduate students, local Milwaukee ACS chapter and to ACS members. The Safe House is a theme sports bar with various entertainment avenues.
