DIRECTIONS

NOTE: - Be aware that the freeways in Milwaukee are being reconstructed. The directions below tell you how to easily get to the Hyatt Hotel. Directions are also included for your return trip. Please note that the return directions are quite different from the arrival directions.

From the South:

Arrival: Driving from the South along I94/I43, do NOT take the posted detour. Follow the signs to I43 (to Green Bay) and exit nearly immediately at the Kilbourn Avenue exit. This will be a tunnel under the courthouse that takes you directly to Kilbourn Avenue. (Do not go into the parking garage that is accessable from the tunnel.). Upon emerging from the tunnel, continue straight ahead (east) on Kilbourn Avenue to the Hyatt. (You will see the Hyatt Hotel about 2 blocks away.)

Return: From the Hyatt, drive north 4 blocks on 4th Street to McKinley Avenue. Turn west on McKinley and after crossing 6th Street, you will see the ramp to take you to south I94 toward Chicago.

From the West:

Arrival: Driving from the West, traveling east along I94, do NOT turn north on I43 to Green Bay, but continue east to the next exit, James Lovell Street. Turn left on James Lovell (north) and go 3 blocks to Wells Street. Go east (right) on Wells to the next light (4th Street) and turn left (north). Go one block and turn right on Kilbourn. The Hyatt Hotel will be on your right.

Return: From the Hyatt, drive north 4 blocks on 4th Street to McKinley Avenue. Turn west on McKinley and after crossing 6th Street, you will see the ramp to take you to west I94 toward Madison.

From the North:

Arrival: Driving from the North, south along I43, exit at Highland Avenue. At the exit you will be facing west. Turn south (left) on 12th street and travel south 3 blocks to Wells Street. Turn east (left) on Wells, and go east on Wells (5 blocks) to 4th Street and turn left (north). Go one block and turn right on Kilbourn. The Hyatt Hotel will be on your right.

Return: Drive west on Kilbourn Avenue 2 blocks to 6th Street. Turn right (north) on 6th Street and travel 14 blocks to North Avenue. (AS you near North Avenue, the main road will curve to the west onto Halyard Street and then merge with 7th Street.) Right after crossing North Avenue, there will be a ramp on the left to northbound I43.
