We'd like to extend a cordial welcome to you from the Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee!

Our department is one of many departments which make up Wisconsin's premier urban research university. We offer baccalaureate, master's and doctoral degrees covering the entire spectrum of sub-disciplines in chemistry and biochemistry. It consists of a dedicated and enthusiastic faculty and teaching staff of 22, a 15-member research, technical and office support team, and approximately 75 graduate students and postdoctoral fellows, with all of the major instrumentation and facilities to perform world-class research, while maintaining an atmosphere conducive to one-on-one interactions among faculty, staff, and students at all levels.
